We as “firestarters” want to be the ones who initiate the burning excitement of God’s spirit, and presence flowing in and thru our lives.  We want others to see, feel, and experience everything God has done, and is capable of doing in your life so that you will “spread” it with everyone you know and come in contact with.  When others see this excitement and fire within our lives they will have to come and experience this phenomenon for themselves.

One thing I can assure you is that we strive to work together as a group so that NO ONE will be or feel left out by teaching, living, and fulfilling the will and calling of each life by instilling the importance of the plan of salvation which is first repentance, being baptized in Jesus name then receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. This is required so that you can not only make it to heaven, but also so that you can live a Holy, clean, and acceptable life that is pleasing unto the Lord.

You are wanted, loved and accepted just the way you are.  We want God to do the changing in your life, and as you become closer to the “fire” he will mold you exactly how HE desires.

Another thing we feel that is very important is fun and fellowship. We want to keep you involved and excited so you will share and invite others to everything we do.  You will see and find that we try to keep something fun scheduled such as bowling, skating, and hanging out with food, and music.  There are other things in mind; however they wouldn’t be a surprise if I gave them away now but I can assure you they are coming.

Please know that every thought you have is important, so we ask that you please be interactive and let us know what you are thinking.  It could not only impact us, but it could impact someone else as well.  Once again I can assure you that we will listen and weigh all of them.

This is YOUR youth group.  We want to be different, exciting and unlike anything you’ve ever been a part of before.  You are the church of today and the future, and we want and pray that you will be a part so we can spread his goodness, love, grace, mercy and be “firestarters” for the kingdom of God.
